Class Begins promptly at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:30 PM

Purpose: The purpose of this course is to instruct the participants in the safe and effective handling of a revolver and/or a semi-automatic pistol.

Cost: There is no cost for instruction or for the use of the range or firearms. However; you must provide your own ammunition.
Ammunition may be bought after the safety class at the range for live fire instruction.. If you decided to buy ammunition before the class--- Buy the proper ammunition for your firearm by checking the instructions on the barrel or the manual. If you do not know what ammunition to buy ahead of time contact the phone number or Email below. If you do not have your own firearm, then purchase .38 special ammo for revolver, 9mm for semi-auto pistol and/or 22 long rifle for either .22 revolver and/or pistol. Ammunition may be purchased prior to arrival any firearms at any firearms store, Turner's Sportsman, Big Five, some Wal-Mart stores as well as at the office (A box of 50 cartridges of the following may be purchased at the office: Price per box is: .22 Long Rifle is $2.00, 38 Special, 9 MM is $11.00. and .45 auto is $15.00, (No 45 long colt). All prices are subject to change due to volatility of market). Do not buy or bring magnum, +P or +P+, or private reloaded ammunition.

Firearms: Bring your own. If you do not have your own firearm, the instructors will let you use one of theirs. Transport your UNLOADED pistol or revolver in a locked container placed in the trunk of your vehicle or, if no trunk, as far from the driver as is possible. (not in glove compartment or console)

Clothing: Please wear clothing appropriate for shooting. We suggest a shirt that can be buttoned at the neck, long pants, a hat with a brim or bill. Closed toe shoes. (No high-heels, opened toe shoes or sandals), sun screen and water. Bring something to eat if you wish.

Eye Protection must be worn. Prescription Glasses and Sunglasses are allowed. Safety Glasses are available for purchase  (price subject to change).

Hearing Protection must be worn. Earplugs will be furnished at no cost          

Seating: Bring a Chair

Food: None. Bring your own.
